Ho hum – another boring draft. Unless you have a top 10 pick, or your team makes a trade, the draft to me is pretty boring…the Sabres drafted some guys…we might get a look at Mark Pysik in 3 years if we’re lucky. (Tyler Myers is the exception to the rule here as to how fast he made it to the NHL.) Should they have drafted for offense instead of defense? Whatever – draft the best guy on the board…that’s what you do in the NHL – again unless you have a top-10 pick.

All right – I’m back! Where did I go? Well, really nowhere. I was in Florida for the end of the Sabres playoff run, and upon returning, I was simply too depressed to write anything. As the days turned into weeks, I just couldn’t bring myself to put my thoughts into words.
