What is Puckosphere.com?
Puckosphere.com is the newest social media and blogging website that is dedicated solely to the hockey fan. Not only is puckosphere.com a blogging platform like blogspot, but also has social media features built in such as forums, groups, messaging other members, etc. The goal is to make Puckosphere.com the first and last place you need to go to get your fix on everything hockey.
Do I need a Blog to participate in Puckosphere.com discussions?
No, you do not. Simply create a user account and you can now subscribe to and comment on other peoples blogs, join groups and participate in forums. Should you want to start your own blog in the future, you can do that too.
How do I get started?
First you need to sign up for an account. You can also create a new blog there if desired and sign up as an all-star member as well.
Do you place advertisements on blogs?
Yes, Puckosphere.com reserves the right to place advertisements before and after blog posts and pages to help pay for web traffic bills. You can have these ads removed if you become an all-star Puckosphere.com member.
What is an all-star member?
An all-star member are Puckosphere.com paid members. Puckosphere.com All-stars gain the following benefits:
- -Promotion of your blog by having your posts show up on the front page and on facebook and twitter.
- -Have your posts show up on the Puckosphere.com main page giving your blog access to more traffic.
- -Ability to have their own domain name for their blog along with email addresses for that domain.
- -An additional 2 gigabytes of storage space for pictures, audio and video files for use in their blog. This should be lots enough for all bloggers. Non-allstar members get 50MB which should be enough for bloggers that do not use much video, audio or pictures in their blog posts.
- -Ad free blogs. As mentioned above, for non all-star members Puckosphere.com reserves the right to post ads within you blog, above and/or below your blog posts. All-star members can have these ads removed.
- -Use your own theme and request your own plugins. If you have the technical ability to do so, you can create your own wordpress theme so you can have a custom blog design or if there is a wordpress plug-in you want installed we can do that for you too (if compatible).
