If you have not yet read Part I and Part II of this series, you should probably do that now so you will better understand Part III.
In this part I wanted to take a look at individual goalies and see how they compare to the average. The following is a list of the 19 goalies I used to create the goalie performance by age average chart that you see in Part II and if you click on their names you will be shown a chart of their performance compared to the average performance.

The NHL has released it’s 3 nominees for the Vezina. Here are the nominees with their statistics.
NJD – Martin Brodeur 45-25-6 / .916 SV% / 2.24 GAA / 9 SO (Yet another great year)
PHX – Ilya Bryzgalov 42-20-6 / .920 SV% / 2.29 GAA / 8 SO (The Coyotes best player all year)
BUF – Ryan Miller 41-18-8 / .929 SV% / 2.22 GAA / 5 SO (All you need to see is his stats)

The New Jersey Devils played the best game they have played all season last night, all 4 lines were rolling the D was doing a good job shutting down the Hawks high powered offense. Despite playing an ideal perfect game they found a way to lose 2-1 in a SO. That was a big point they fell short of last night and these standings will tell you why.

4th – Pittsburgh Penguins GP:77 / P:95
