Dallas re-signs Kari Lehtonen

The Dallas Stars have shown that they have confidence in goaltender Kari Lehtonen by giving him a 3 year contract extension that will earn him 3.55 million dollars per season.
Let’s look at his stats from over the past 3 seasons.
2007-08 GP:45 Record: 17-22-5 GAA: 2.90 SV%: .916 SO: 4
2008-09 GP:46 Record: 19-22-3 GAA:3.06 SV%: .911 SO: 3
2009-10 GP:12 Record: 6-4-0 GAA: 2.81 SV%: .911 SO: 0

Devils outplay Flyers, lose 2-1

The New Jersey Devils played a very solid game yesterday, the only problem they had was the powerplay. In 6 attempts the New Jersey Devils failed to score just one and if they had of done so, they would have likely won however, they didn’t and in reality they lost and are down 1-0 in the series.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed Defenseman Kris Letang to a 4 year deal earning him 3.5 mil per season, this likely means the Sergei Gonchar will test free agency come July 1st.
